The Brookhaven Building is Lenbrook's original structure. The 18-story building includes 225 residences, with an average size of approximately 1,300 square feet. Built in 1983, the Brookhaven Building offers a central dining room (open for lunch and dinner), a private dining room where breakfast is available, a multipurpose room used for community wellness, social and cultural events, a library, and a lounge. The skilled nursing facilities are currently located on the second floor of the Brookhaven Building, but will be re-located to the Lenox Tower after construction is completed in 2008. Residents who require assistance with daily living activities may stay in their apartments and hire the help they need for an additional fee.
